17% increase in global cyberattacks in January 2026

GenAI: New data breach risks – Education remains the most targeted sector

Increasing digitalization, the interconnection of critical infrastructures and the rapid adoption of cloud and GenAI tools intensify the risk for organizations that manage sensitive data of citizens, customers and supply chains. This environment makes it imperative to adopt comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, with an emphasis on prevention, continuous threat visibility and the protection of critical services that support the functioning of the state and the economy.
