Samsung: Access to Nvidia GeForce Now for TVs in India

Samsung continues to invest in experience offering the Samsung Gaming Hub, a platform that provides access to popular cloud-based game streaming services. However, it is worth noting that for now, the Gaming Hub is not available in the Indian market. While Samsung TVs had access to the Cloud Gaming since late last year, the launch of Gaming Hub remains pending, which has disappointed many gamers in the country. The positive news is that there are hopes for support for Nvidia GeForce Now, one of the most popular game streaming services worldwide.

Nvidia GeForce Now is available on this week

Today, Nvidia has officially postponed the launch of GeForce Now in India, which was scheduled for April 16, 2026. This launch will allow users to enjoy real-time gaming through the evolution of Nvidia’s cloud-based game streaming. The service supports resolutions up to 5K and HDR at 360fps for compatible devices, meaning the gaming experience will be virtually lag-free and with stunning visual quality. It is expected to be available on Samsung TVs and Tizen OS displays, via the GeForce Now app.

As of now, the Samsung Gaming Hub that allows access to different cloud gaming services is still not available for users in India. This situation may be due to the fact that so far, Xbox Cloud Gaming was the only major service that was accessible in the country. However, with the imminent launch of GeForce Now, there is a possibility that Samsung will announce Gaming Hub support in India with a software update for compatible devices.

What is GeForce Now?

GeForce Now is one of the most innovative gaming platforms in the world, offering access to over 4.500 game titles. Of these, approximately 2.300 are available for immediate play, while the rest require installation via supported platforms, such as Epic Games Store, the Steam, the Ubisoft connect, and Xbox.

The service offers three subscription levels:

  • Free: Supports resolution up to 1080p at 60 fps, includes ads, and limits sessions to one hour.
  • Implementation: Price $9,99 per month in the US, with resolution up to 1440p at 60 fps.
  • Final: Priced at $19,99 per month in the US, it offers up to 4K resolution and 240 fps on RTX 4000 series GPU servers, as well as up to 5K resolution and 360 fps on RTX 5000 series GPU servers.

Of course, Nvidia has not yet announced pricing for India. More details are expected once the service officially launches on April 16, 2026. Users who pre-register will get early access to the service's new features.

I translate bits and bytes into plain Greek. I love technology that solves problems and I'm always looking for the next "big thing" before it becomes mainstream.
